Crazy busy, and yet stuff grows...

11 August, 2013

In my world it has been madness lately. No time for gardening, and no time for blogging.

Hopefully this week things will slow down. A little.

But stuff is still growing...

Tomatoes have germinated.

Nectarine blossoms about to burst.

  1. It's wonderful how the garden seems to thrive on neglect sometimes... and baby plants. Nothing cuter!

    1. So true! I've just planted out the tomatoes and am hoping my fleece protection system will suffice. I am a cruel mother.

  2. WAW!Fantastic that your seeds are up and that you have bud burst! I am closely watching for both here in colder Highfield. I am even watching for my next lot of lambs. So far only 7 of my big, fat, sheep, mothers have lambed and there are 32 more to go!

    1. Yes, the nectarine was first, then the flat peach and almond have joined in, while the anzac peach is just about to burst into flower. Your lambs look great - so cute. I hope the rest of the mothers lambed safely.

  3. Yay germinating tomatoes - very exciting! I have been really busy lately too - my seedlings are doing ok but the garden and blog are both suffering.

    1. Maybe there is just something about this time of year... But seeing the daylight hours slowly increasing is getting me excited for the coming spring. I just hope I'm ready.

    1. Yay - I hope they germinate well! I'm in the same boat in that I'm trying to get lots sorted before I head off on a long-ish holiday. Hopefully all will get done!
